Launch of Crawley Borough Council Elections Campaign

On 12th April, Crawley Conservatives officially launched their Crawley Borough Council Elections campaign.  Candidates are standing in all 13 wards being contested on Thursday 3rd May.  For six years, CrawleyBorough Council has been Conservative-controlled, with May 2006 representing a historic break with the past.

Conservatives announce Crawley Council Budget

Your Conservative Crawley Borough Council has published its budget plans for 2012/13.  The budget includes a Council Tax Freeze for the second year running and continues the six-year track record of the lowest Council Tax rises in all of Sussex. 

Ambition for Ifield West

Almost two years of work by Ifield Councillor Ali Burke and Crawley Borough Council officers, has resulted in a successful bid of £750,000 to the Budget Advisory Group for funds to be invested in Ifield West – which Cabinet on 8th February is asked to approve as a recommendation to the budget-making Full Council on 29th February.

Lottery Success for Worth Park Gardens

Worth Park Gardens, in Pound Hill, is a site of national heritage significance.  Working with the Friends of Worth Park Gardens, Crawley Borough Council has been successful in securing a HLF (Heritage Lottery Fund) grant of £2.42 million.

New Stand for Crawley Town Football Club

Our very successful Crawley Town Football Club is to get a new 2,000-seater stand, to increase ground capacity, following its great achievements in competiton.
