Henry Smith MP has reiterated his support for a Bill which calls for an end to blanket ‘no pets’ clauses in rented accommodation. The Crawley MP is a proud sponsor of the Dogs & Domestic Animals (Accommodation & Protection) Bill, a Private Members’ Bill introduced by Romford MP Andrew Rosindell in October of last year. Known as ‘Jasmine’s Law’, the bill would establish the right to bring a pet into rented accommodation, subject to certain requirements and exemptions.
