Council Tax
Conservatives will be moving that Crawley Borough Council’s part of our Council Tax will go up by just 2%. This is the lowest increase in all of West and East Sussex. It delivers on our commitment to keep Council Tax increases to the rate of inflation or lower and is the result of finding £2.5 million of efficiency savings in just 18 months.
The budget includes new money going into flood prevention and waterways; residential environmental improvements, children's’ playgrounds refurbishment, disabled facilities grants, neighbourhood centres and enhancements to K2 facilities. There is also new funding for climate change and heritage strategies.
