Investing in Crawley’s Future
Anticipating a balanced budget, we are increasing capital spending by an initial £3.4 million over the period 2009-11. Priorities for this expenditure include:
· Flood prevention and waterways · Residential neighbourhood environmental improvements · Children's’ playgrounds refurbishment · Disabled facilities grants · Neighbourhood centres · Enhancements to K2 facilities |

A major programme is the £60 million to be spent on achieving and maintaining our Council homes to the new ‘Crawley Standard’.
We are also working on the important Town Centre North project and to secure a university presence in the Crawley / Gatwick economic sub-region. |
