Cleaner Streets
1. Continue to improve Crawley’s grass-cutting, street cleaning and litter collection 2. Introduce local parking enforcement from 2009 with the fines going to improve parking provision
High Quality, Good Value Services 1. Provide high quality services and keep Crawley Borough Council Tax rises to the rate of inflation or lower 2. Work with partners for better services for young people 3. Provide a £1.3 million improvement programme for more than 90 play projects, benefiting the maximum number of children and families 4. Continue to provide good value-for-money for residents by reviewing how we deliver services 5. Work with the other seven West Sussex councils to improve services together and find efficiency savings 6. Work with West Sussex County Council to complete the much-needed new library in 2008 7. Put more money into new technology on an invest-to-save basis 8. Enhance K2 facilities to keep it at the leading edge |
