Labour - what are they playing at? |

· The Labour Government gave Crawley Council an increase of just 1% in its grant to run the town’s services.
· The Labour Government now takes from Crawley more than £13 million every year in Council house rents and three-quarters of Right-to-Buy sales. · Conservatives proposed the following motion at a Council meeting in January: “That this Council agrees to commit to providing the best possible services to our tenants at the best value cost using whatever method of provision necessary · Under the last Labour Council, five play centres disappeared. · Labour want to add at least 2.5% to your Council Tax bill for the green waste collection service introduced by the Conservatives. · Under the last Labour Council, Crawley went to the back of the queue for obtaining the right to take over local parking enforcement where fines would have been used to improve our parking provision.
