1. Resist cramming development pressures that compromise our quality of life and introduce a heritage policy to ensure long-term respect for Crawley’s history

2. Enhance the maintenance of the cycle network

3. Bring forward additional schemes to improve neighbourhood parking provision

4. Improve the maintenance, signage and promotion of The Greenway

5. Lead on climate change initiatives

6. Introduce a glass recycling service

Tough on Crime, Anti-Social Behaviour and Illegal Travellers

1. Only consider a travellers’ site away from the residential area
and only then if there are not major public objections

2. Continue to protect sites against illegal traveller incursions

3. Improve the tackling of anti-social behaviour by increasing the resources and powers available to the Community Wardens
